#0A0A0A#141414#F0F0F0#8F8F8F#9B82FF. The base violet is too dark for small text.Our first palette borrowed Microsoft's four logo colors. Microsoft's stand for a portfolio of products, all equal. Ours stand for what playing together feels like, with orange in the lead. Violet also sits in a part of the color wheel that neither Microsoft nor Slack uses.

Microsoft has only said that its colors express "a diverse portfolio of products". The product for each color is widely reported, but not official.
